AIF announces return to the field in 2022

BALTIMORE MD– March 31st, 2021– The AIF today announced that the league will return to the field for the 2022 season.  The initial league will make up will be 6-8 teams located in; Pennsylvania, North, and South Carolina areas, to name a few.  The announcement was made by John Morris, CEO, on their social media platforms and available here:

“The AIF represents the idea of ultimate opportunity; it’s a league of soul and culture, anchored by the pursuit of dreams and love for the game, that we couldn’t be more proud to lead,” said Morris. “Every AIF player, coach, city, and fan is our top priority and we couldn’t be more excited.”
John went on to say, “The opportunity is in front of us. We want to do this properly with care and thought for everyone who loves football, especially our players, coaches, partners, and fans."

American Indoor Football

The AIF was formed by John Morris and his partners from the culmination of teams from other existing indoor leagues and new expansion markets.

The purpose of the AIF is to give players a platform to excel and work to continuing their football careers at a higher level. The AIF is excited about the interest in expansion and the future growth of indoor football. Football is generally recognized as the number one sport in the U.S. Indoor football has a large segment of fans due to the year-round interest in the game.

The AIF season starts, most generally, in March and concludes in June with the AIF Championship Game.
When the AIF season opens, the teams in our league will throw open their doors and welcome an enthusiastic fan base. Our brand of football is a family-friendly sporting event.

Our mantra is “Community Family Football”. The mission of the American Indoor Football league is to provide fast-paced, fan-friendly professional football at affordable prices.

John Morris, President

The AIF President is the former AIFA Co-Founder and Co-Owner John Morris. Mr. Morris is a successful businessman and runs the day-to-day operations of the league and brings with him over 15 years of Pro Indoor Football experience.  Some of his many responsibilities include; promoting the AIF, soliciting national media, securing new league sponsors, and the overall development of the AIF. John owns several other businesses across the US and Puerto Rico, that specialize in advertising and marketing services to the automotive industry
